One of Michelle
Lisenbee’s life goals is to assist people in their journey toward
health by combining both her nursing and massage therapy skills.
Michelle received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the
prestigious George Mason University School of Nursing in August of
1990. She is trained in Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Myofascial
Release and graduated from the Baltimore School of Massage in 2002.
She is state licensed and Nationally
Certified by the National Certification Board for Massage Therapy
and Bodywork and is a member of the Associated Bodywork and Massage
Professionals association. Michelle’s touch is deeply connected
and spiritual. Many clients have expressed how safe and deeply
cared for they feel after one of her deeply energizing and relaxing
sessions.
As a mom of two,
Michelle’s passion for the particular bodywork concerns of the
childbearing years is a very personalized and compassionate gift for
her clients. She took the course "Bodywork for the Childbearing
Year" in August of 2005 and was certified as a pregnancy massage
therapist. In the future, she would like to become a doula and
offer a wide range of classes to couples in pregnancy massage,
infant massage and labor coaching and care. Her experience in
instructing both individuals and small groups is evident in the easy
manner that she shares life-giving information with her clients.
